Do Not Deal With Superlumination!!!
I ordered some LED bulbs from them. They were supposed to be direct replacements for 1156 and 1156. When I received the bulbs they did not fit. Apparently something in the shape of the bulb did not allow it to seat all the way in.
So I e-mailed them explaining the situation. E-mails went back and forth with questions about this and that. Was the bulb doing this. What is stopping it. Blah blah blah. Finally I asked if there was any other bulbs that would work. All he could offer was some cheap discontinued bulbs. So I asked for a refund. This is where it gets good.
They e-mail me back with the return procedure. It is at this time they decided to spring it on me that they have a 20% restocking fee. Of now I am pissed. I e-mailed them back to ask them where on their site, my invoice, or any other e-mails that it stated anything about a restocking. I searched everywhere and there is nothing. I also asked where it stated that these bulbs may not work in all applications. They never e-mailed me back. I e-miled them 4 or 5 more times politely asking them for a link for that policy and they never responded.
So I sent the bulbs back along with a letter stating everything that I e-maled them about the policy. And also a chance and suggestion to do the right thing. Apparently they didn't feel like doing the right thing and charged me the 20%. Granted it is only about $20 I am out but it is the principal of it. You can't have a policy like that without stating so and telling customers and potential customers. The really sad thing about it is I am (or was) a repeat customer.
So that is why I am here. To warn anyone else who has considered buying from them. I'm going to post this to several forums and hope people decided to spread the word. I may even go to the extreme of filing a complaint with the BBB.
They operate under these websites:
www.autolumination.com
www.superlumination.com
www.discountleds.com
www.classicautobulbs.com
and under ebay as baconcc and I think they opened a new account autolumination

They were shipped to a PO box. Zip code 85236 which is Higley, AZ. Their ship from address is a PO box too. I am assuming this is someone running a business from home. That makes the fact of charging a restocking fee an even more bitter pill to swallow.
Restocking = getting the wife to throw them in the correct box in the garage

Did you call your credit card company? They can adjust the charge/credit to elminate the restocking fee, if it wasn't disclosed.
