Default Anybody interested in a reduced price Lick's solo bag?

I talked to Lick's today about the possibility of dropping the price if we could get a group of people together. They sent me the following message:

thank u for ur interest in the licks solo bag...with the bag priced at 199.00...we are still trying to keep up with the orders....the quality/style and function of the bag surely justifies the cost and all receiving all have agreed...with that being said...we do still offer a discount to group buys as well...we have done so in the past and will again to any groups interested...usually if we can get atleast 12 group members interested....we can do a group price of 150.00 each...a savings of almost $50.00 per bag.....let us know.....we need atleast 12 bags to be sold to get the group rate.....and thanks again for ur interest....aj

I am not willing to pay the 199 for the bag. A savings of 50 would be a good enough deal to convince me to buy one. I don't think this violates rules since they are a sponsor. I'm not sure if this is the appropriate sub-forum however. I will start a list and you guys let me know what you think.

I was asked about the possibility of including all bags not just the 04+ here is the response from AJ at Lick's:

any xl bag style/year...is fine.....even the new dyna bag and softail/rigid bag as well if u have some bt buddies interested............

**********************UPDATE********************** *******

Lick's phone number is (413) 663-9050 and we will be placing the individual orders by phone. I have been talking to aj thibert. If someone beats me to talking to them at Lick's tell them we have over the 12 people. Then once everyone places their orders we will wait for the bags. The site says they average 2 weeks for shipping. Just want to make sure everyone knows that before the order these things.

I don't want another, (already got one) but this bag is well worth $150.00. Make sure the '04 - '06 members know about it too. It fits them. (mine is an '05)

Does it have to be the same bag? What I mean is that if they let you mix the pre-2003 style bag in the 12, I'd definitely take one.

Count me in. (no indian head nickels, if possible, just plain)

Couple of questions, Derek, if you know: Will this group order be paid for individually or .... and what's the time frame for this size order??

883xl,
Looks good on your bike.....well, the bike looks great anyway.
Not what I want in a bag, though.....not satisfied with what I have either.
Guess I'll wait until I see what catches my eye right.
