Default Calif. Emisson Removal

I bought my 04 88C bike from a guy in CA and it still has the air conister on it. Also has the SE II set up with rejet, pipes, and SE II (blue) AF. Anyways, I want to remove it and plug the carb because I live in GA and I want it gone. Anyone help me out on the best way to go about it? Thanks

You mean the charcoal canister?

Cut the hoses going to the canister and then unbolt and remove the canister.The big hose goes to your a/c from the canister and you dont need it.I put on the SE air cleaner and it doesnt have a place for the hose anyway.I just cut it at the the canister and then pulled it the rest of the way out.The other two small hoses I just cut and left them since they cant be seen anyway.Mine is a 97 1200C cal model so it may be a little different.

What's all this talk about cutting?! How about just removing the hose clamps?

Well remove them if you want,it was easier for me to cut them since I didnt need them anymore
