Default Almost finished

Is the positive side of the ignition coil on my 77 on the right or left of the bike? Wires got tangled in the spokes when I was pushing it around and I just can't remember.
I appreciate the help.

Everyone knows that Harleys don't leak oil, they just mark their spot! (ever seen those signs that say "Washington stayed here"?)

Default Thanks

Thanks for that, Biker. Hoping to ride it little bit today. It's been down for over a year. Mr. Snoot just about has it done -- now if I could just find my boots!

I can't say for sure about this specific application but in general a coil will produce a much hotter spark when wired correctly ie when the negative side field collapses when the points open (or the transistor does) A lab scope can show it but most of us don't have access to one. Ex-ASE L1.

Rats, Matt. That sounds correct -- but which side?
