lambda sensors
hey mates,
i got a question. i just put my remus on. i had to unplug the lambda sensors , so i unplugt them.
when i put it all back together i might have mixed them up.
the two sensors wich are bolted into the pipe are the same, right?(front/back) i mean just the sensors with the little cable attached.
thank bro

is the DB Killer easy to remove and attach?
can you post some close up pics of the exhaust...
also, is the remus sticker/plate removable? it looks like it's riveted on?

hi benny,
the plate is riveted. it looks pretty decent to me so i `ll leave that.
i will post some pics and soundfiles as soon as i get me camera back.
the the killer is held in place by a simple mettal snap ring that is welded on , on a very tiny spot. you break it easy when you first remove it, using snap ring plieres.
the sound?
oh man..............................RADICAL.

Did you try the bike with your new exhaust system ? did you feel more power or torque ?
When you install this device, is it necessary to modify the injection , or does it automatically adjust to the new exhaust?
Give us the sound file, please !!

yes i rode it already. well to be honest it very hard to say. there is no significant hit or feelable 5 HP more. bur like the power curve says it makes the power on top.
i have not squeezied it out enough to tell that much difference. one thing i can say is that it revs very free.
remus says, its not necessary to modifie the EFI.
the pipe is a peace of art. fit and finish are awesome.
it took me longer to remove the stock pipe than to put the new one on.
and guys: the sound is .....
pics and files this weekend.....

coooool, does it mean the engine is more flexible, still more pleasant ?
On the Remus power curve, there's a little bit less power between 4000 and 5000 rpm than the stock exhaust, did you feeel it ?

sebring has made a 2 in 1 exhaust system which use the same header pipe as Remus. I prefer the sebring silencer, so i ordered one. I'll tell you more when i'll receive it.

For what they cost it would be worth getting some XIED's from Nightrider.com they will richen your mixture up slightly which is definatly a good thing with these motors running as lean as they do.
