The bags came with a tub of what HD calls conditioner, looks smells and feels like Sno-Seal to me. Rubbed that stuff on heavily before installing the bags.
The leather seems to be of good quality, and will get a retreatment of Sno-Seal every time my jacket does- they see the same duty.
They seem pretty sturdy, but only time will tell.
