Default foamy oil help

I have a 2006 XL1200R and after riding for about 1 hour I checked the oil and all I got on the stick was foam.

1. What oil are you using?
2. Are you using an additive?
3. How many miles since your last oil change?
4. How much oil did you put in on your last oil change?
5. Does oil register on the dipstick when the engine is cool?

Might want to park the bike until you are certain that you are properly lubricating the engine...

How much foam did you get? Some foam on the top is normal, if you don't have any foam then it's time to really start to worry.

If you just changed the oil you may have some air trapped in your lines.
