Default Dual rotor wheels on a single rotor front end?

Can you put a front wheel that came on a bike with duel front brakes on a bike with single front brakes? I need to replace my front wheel but all the good deals are for wheel set up for dual rotors.
Thanks

I believe the hubs are basically the same but the dual rotor hubs are drilled on both sides.

This supposes that you have the correct axle diameter, etc. You obviously can't run 2 rotors without changing the lower fork sliders since there isn't anywhere to mount the second caliper.

Cheers,

Brett

You can do that, look at the single disc wheels at the stealer, they are the same wheel with screws filling up the holes where second disc would bolt to.
