Default 2-1 Unexpected Bonus

I just installed new 2-1's (Python), and realized an unexpected bonus. Compared to the SE II slip-on's and stock headpipes, it appears that the Python's provide at least two extra inches of ground clearance.

The mounting/crossover used by the SE II's hung nearly an inch below the frame member, and the slipon's were lower than that. With the Python's, both the mount and the muffler are well above the frame member.

Nice sound too--a little lower volume than the SEII, but still a nice rumble, and a slightly different sound than the duals. I think quieter than the Bassanni Road Rage, and louder than the Super-traps. It is always a little difficult to know what to expect on sound, but this turned out very good.

A little cleaner, less cluttered appearance also.

Now, after break-in, we will see what the dyno says!

I'll be watching for the Dyno report. I like my 2:1 too.

I think you might be surprised (happily) with the difference between the Python and SE II's.

Yeah, I did a 1250 kit stage 2 lite heads, and Cams along with the Pythons, so I suspect that there may be an improvement in performance. Probably make those Pythons look pretty damn good, eh?
