883 stage 3 vs 1200 stage 3

will a 883 stage 3 head perform as well as 1200 stage 3 head? my bike is 05 883 planning to do 1250 kit with .536 cams 2into1 pipe would like to keep 883 heads. my goal is 90 to 100 hp.

A stage 3 883 head will not perform as good as a stage 3 04 and up XL 1200 head but it will meet your 90-100 hp goal if all the other components are of equal power. We made 97 hp at the rear wheel with our 883-1250 conversion with NRHS stage 3 883 heads. That bike had 536 cams, Supertrapp 2 into 1. daytona twin tec ignition and a Mikuni 42 carb with a 3" Hurricane air cleaner
