Halogen Headlight
I installed some Halogen fog lights on my 95 Sportster. Now my stock headlight looks like it just barley lite compared to the fog lights.. I want to change to a Halogen headlight. Do I have to change the whole thing or do they make a Haolgen that will fit in place of the stock bulb?
Thanks

PIAA bulbs are so very nice, but also so very expensive. I had them in a car, loved them, but couldn't afford to keep replacing them (had a bad moisture seal in one headlight assembly.)
I've heard good things about the GE Nighthawk bulbs. I'm guessing they are available in H4 and they are a lot cheaper.

I've used Hella H-4s for years because of the various selections of bulb available (55/100w, 90/100w/ and 100/130w), and I've never had any reliability issues except for a 100/130w that toasted a wire that got too close in the headlight bulb.

Come on! What fun is just replacing the bulb?
If it is the original or a few years old, most replacements should make it brighter,no?
You may want to find out the candlepower of the spot lamps,so you know you are getting brighter.

My 1988 Sportster came stock with a 55w sealed beam incandesant bulb. Talk about dim. I replaced it pretty
quick with a Hella H4 lens, and ran that for the rest of the century.
But, come on. Halogen is so last century. Last summer I upgraded to a HID. Riding down a dark road now is like
taking a portable sun along for the ride.
For less than $100 there's no excuse to live in the past any longer, especially when we don't have too.
Low Beam
High Beam

What you want to do is run relays for the lighting circuit.......
