Big Twin Electronic Speedo on 1200 Custom
Hiyas,
Could someone tell me if the Big Twin Electronic Speedos will fit straight onto the 1997 1200 Custom Speedo Plug ??
The reason i ask, is cos ive just picked up a Quickbob tank with center console & the console is for the larger BT speedo, so im just hoping that theres no difference between the two, so i can plug in my mates spare BT Speedo.
Thanx in Advance for your help

The calibration will be off because the transmission and gearing are different. You can get a box to modify the signal so the speedometer is accurate again. The boxes are about $100. If it physically fits in your dash, you can make it work.

Dakota Digital has one:
http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod/prd238.htm
S&S and Baker Drivetrain have them too. Those two sites only have PDF catalogs, which are a big pain.
They all work like the Dakota one, you adjust something to correct the error. There's actually a programmable (one button) sensor too, but I can't find it right now. I thought that was from Dakota too
