if your dealer does it ! not ! we the wife and do our own work we want it done right and dont want the stealer to do it half assed we have a heated garage and box full of tools and several books & if we cant find the info we need then we come here and post questions and go from there the only time a dealer touches our bikes is when we have a warranty issue ! and as of now we have no warranty left !
going out in the morning to test the w/g wire to see what it reads and go from there it sounds like a bad ground & the ground from the tank to the frame is also missing !
yea i do going to check it out your advise would it be best to remove it from the front or the rear to get at the lil bulbs ? the 97 is the same as the 01 !
ya gotta test that wire at the module while spinning the rear wheel and see what the voltage is, that will tell ya where to go next
for the indicator gotta check the wires but i suspect that your gonna find the bulb is open, since all the indicators ground off the same wire and its powered by the headlight wire
