best place to order ANDREWS N8?
What's the best place (cheap but reliable) to get Andrews N8 cams for a 99xl? Found on ebay, but going through a store (real or online) would make me a little more comfortable.

I saved a couple hundred dollars on a Andrews transmission from this shop.
Service was pretty good too.

I've bought a lot of parts off ebay and have found sellers to be reliable; check their feedback. I don't do "cash only" or "no PayPay" and have received excellent service, including refunds to PayPal.
Jim's Cycle Shop is just outside Waco; decent guy and his son own the business. Harley's only! and would be a good choice if the forum vendors can't help soon enough.
See my recommendation under stealers, dealers, etc..

I have them on my 93. 10 years now and running strong. Good cam for compression. I will be installing 10.5 to 1 pisotns this year with jet heads. Should be a screamer. It was hot as hell in the dyno room when they ran my bike so the numbers were lower than they would be in normal conditions. 103 degrees in the room with no air.. I think the s model had higher compression if my memory serves me right. The torque curve comes up fast and holds in the same are for 2500 rpm before it starts to drop.

Andrews N8 Cams
I bought my N4's from Jireh, 1-(877)681-0448 or jirehcycles.com, part # 114-166, $219.95, same price as I paid for the N4's...S&H over $75 FREE!!! I bought a lot of parts from them for the 883/1200 conversion. Best prices I found....Nick
