Thumbs up How to prevent terminal corrosion?

With all the problems that can be caused by deteriorating connections at the battery, what have folks found to be the best at slowing/preventing corrosion?

You can buy this stuff in a can at autozone that you can spray on your battery terminals to pretect them. I've used it and it works good.

what about the fuse box, I noticed some corrosion starting already. Has anyone tried or knows of a spray I could use if I pull out all the fuses.

I found some spray contact cleaner at home depo, pulled all my fuses sprayed the fusebox with the contact cleaner. used 500grit sandpaper on the fuses, a little di-eletric grease and put it all back together. I hate the way that stupid battery cover snaps on, fell down a few times while driving so I removed one of the mounts and now zip-tie the sucker, I found some reuseable zipties while I was buying the contact cleaner.

All my motor vehicle owning life I have just used WD40 or similar products and have NEVER have one spot of corrosion on battery terminals.

Give 'em a quick spray 2 or 3 times a year and they're good.
