Default HD Mini Apes '07 Nightster

Please help goes out to anyone who has added the HD Mini Apes to their nightster. I want to buy these bars and am looking to find the total investment you guys have made by adding these to your bike. I am going to do the work myself. I get a different story from each dealership I go to in regards of what all i need to buy.

Thanks in advance.

Only thing I needed was a brake line, but I just modded my stock line, $0 dollars invested.

I have them on my bike. The bars are pretty cheap, something in the neighborhood of $50.00. It's the new cables that are pricey. I don't recall the amount I paid, but whatever it was, it was too much. As mentioned in a previous post, some have made the change without having to buy new cables. I was unaware of this at the time.

You can get away with no need to invest in anything else. You will have to bend the brake line straight though and get a loop bracket to hold it loose. It also makes for some taut wires. Lastly you should also run your idle/throttle cables outside the frame, otherwise they get too tight in turns.

Only change I made was the brake line - about $90:

I just changed out my bars and selling the mini apes with nostalgic grips. I'll sell them for $75 + $15 shipping if anyone is interested.
