I bought my first Sportster two weeks ago. When I decided I wanted to get into riding, I looked at lots of options and did a lot of soul searching trying to figure out what kind of bike I wanted. I kept coming back to the roadster, it seemed to be a perfect fit.

I found and bought a 2008 roadster with 2K miles on it. It is a bank repo that I got a sweet deal on. If it was your bike previously...sorry. So far I'm really happy with it and I think I made a great choice. I find it hard to believe they discontinued the roadster for 2009.

I've been lurking here for about a month. It seems like this is a great place to hang out. I'll be checking in on the various forums for some help and I will offer any assistance to others that I can.
