Saw an awesome lift at Sam's Club!
Sam's has this really nice aluminum lift for only $77.81. It looks incredible and is a lot lighter than the iron ones. My guess is that it can be 'one-handed' pretty easily, which I sure can't do with the iron one I just bought at Harbor Freight. Stated capacity: 1,500 lbs.
You can see the lift on the Sam's Club web site. Get to the site and search 'motorcycle' or Item: '709892'.

Looks cool but I wish there was a bigger picture. I guess I will have to go to Sams to get a look.
Do you need a card to enter the store or just to purchase?

Someone is always at the door checking cards when entering or leaving!

Just to purchase, they will let you in to walk thru the store, kinda like a guest pass, just have to tell them when you enter.

I think the aluminum Sam's jack is really pretty. From a functional standpoint, I'd much rather pump the lift up with my foot and use my hands to steady the bike on the way up. On the way down I would also use my foot to modulate the lowering, while I stabilized the bike. I actually don't care for the hand lever on the Sam's lift and having to twist it to lower it. JMO.

I can't tell from the picture, but some of the Sam's lifts in the past have raised up at an angle instead of parallel to the floor. This one is a different design so it may not have that problem.

I have the Pep Boys jack, still in the box. I'd return it if I hear good things about this one.
Anybody got one?

Looks like there would be issues with it clearing the jiffy stand too, even worse than the Pep Boys model. Hmm...

It looks like it'd be easy to modify this one a bit. I'd remove that axle and get a couple bolts for the wheels. You'd have all kinds of clearance then.
