Default Can you connect wires straight to turn signal?

When i did my front signal relocation to the forks, i cut the wires too close to the turn signal itself (about 4 inches away) so when i put them back together with the butt connectors and shrink wrap you can see the bumps. just looks ugly nothing more. I also have excess wire now. I think to fix both of those problems all id have to do is connect the wires inside the turn signal itself. When i tired to pull it apart i didnt see how it was connected in there......can this be done?

Sounds like you're planning to rewire the entire circuit from the turn signal switch to the signal? Wire has to attach to something in the signl housing. You say you tried to get it apart-maybe thats the problem-you need to suceed.
