214 HP sportster ( now 220 HP )
Just got a message on another thread about the Daytona Wyotec brute HP shootout winner from this spring. The bike is for sale on Ebay, It made 220 HP on it's last dyno pull. All motor, no nitrous, 140 cu in, 4.60 X 4.125, S&S B1 heads, dual S&S D carbs, the valves are a whopping 2.45 in and 1.88 ex. It looks and the spec sound like a old AHDRA Pro Stock motor when they were limited to 140 cu in. Nothinng you could ride around. The 160's now running in pro gas with nitrous make 300 +. Still I bet it was quite a show and quite a shock to see it on the dyno, sorry I missed that...............steve

Here's Todd's cycle "pickpocket" with a 120 cu in. Has S&S B1 heads and SA cases.

Nice, makes me want my JMC even more now. Too bad those limeys are so slow. 200 h.p. sporty would be great if it was streetable.

Yeah, that thing would not be real streetable, however the asking price of $22,000 is not out of line if you look at all the componets, and the tuner Rob Shopf is quite a builder and tuner, he works out of Hal's speed shop up in Wisconsin, they've been making motors like that for years, even bigger and badder. He built all of Tom Bradfords AHDRA Pro Gas bikes, back when they were still trying to qualify 45 degree Harleys in the NHRA. It's really a mid level bike for them, they had 160's and even tried a 186 for a while if I remember right...................Wish I had an extra $ 20,000, I don't know what the reserve is but the bid was only $10,500 a couple of hours ago, it's on EBay..................

It sold for $15,000, pretty good price if you look at the componets, you'd have a hard time just building the motor for that price, the S&S pro stockcases are worth a bunch by themselves, they can run it in AHDRA street pro and do pretty good I'd think.........
