Default Missouri Sportster Owners

We need to get all these Sportys together in one place this summer for a day or two. What do you all think? Someplace in the middle of the state, like Columbia. Just an idea. Chime in if you think it's a good idea, good thing about Missouri you can be in Columbia from almost anywhere in a couple hours.

yep, and thats good if your close to KC, but some are a pretty long away and I was thinking of someplace not so caged up. Campground, State park, many less badges and less money to enjoy yourself.

I would be up for something like that. I usually try to plan my weekend rides around a stop at a state park anyway.

I don't know how to organize one either. I thought I'd put the idea out there, get some ideas on where may be a good place somewhere in the middle of the state to head for and head for it. I went to one like this in Iowa a couple years back and it was great. 80% of the bikes were Sportsters. I figure Columbia is about in the middle of the state and we could head for someplace like this... http://www.mostateparks.com/fingerlakes.htm
Now how to get the word out? I figured this forum would be the ticket. When? I'd say give everybody time to plan in say 30 days or so? Maybe plan on some burgers etc. They have a campground for those who want to enjoy a barley pop or 6 and stay until the next day. Hey, who knows, might get an annual thing started. Now that would be cool. So the more ideas the better.
