I'm gonna be ordering some red led rear replacement lights for my wifes 2011 Nightster. I'm also gonna swap out the fronts with amber led lights. Will one load equalizer that Radiantz sells be all that I will need for it to function correctly?

Without seeing the exact unit you are thinking about buying I can only say that most load equalizers are used for both left and right (the TSM only knows left and right....not front and back) since most people install both a left and right LED...not just one side. So, yes, you will just need one.

Cosmo, do you think I will need a load equaliser or any other hardware to get the dogeyes working on my 2004?

They haven't arrived yet. I will be running the stock bulbs in the front indicators.

Loony - I can't say that I have heard LEDs working on pre-07's models without a load equalizer. I know people with 07+ have been able to put LEDs on the front or the rear (not both) and the turn signal module will work normally. However, I haven't heard the same for pre-07's....so I would plan on getting a load equalizer....esp if you are going to run front and back LEDs.

Cosmo, If I do need equalisers, what do you think of these?

Not a big fan due to the heat generated by those. Although if you live across the pond your options may be more limited. Search badlands....they seem to be popular

I thought that I would share that I just purchased the red Radiantz LEDs for my Nightster and I saved a little money too.

I used the promo code 2008 and it saved me $15.
