Start of new project
Several parts are heading to powder coating this week.
I'll take the reflectors off first
These are powdercoated, but a little scratched and I want black satin finish, instead of shiny
Bars are just painted and the paint wants to come off. The Joker Machine risers are just part of the picture. The finish is just fine.
One question, what do you guys think of a gray or hammercoat (powdercoat) finish, just to be different?
Also the heat shields on the Side Shots are scratched. They have high temp powdercoat that will be just fine on the heat shields. Thinking about the hammercoat finish on them, trying to not have too much black. What do you think?

i'm not sure what "hammercoat" is....if its like an "exile" type of color (ya know dull alluminum) then i say go for it.
i love the hell outta my bike but one thing i didn't think about when i was doin everything to is was the "pritty" factor.
now that i have it the way it is (and i don't wanna change it because in my eyes its perfect) i do at times wish i had chosen a style a little more "toned down" so i could go off on a dirt road, or get the thing nasty dirty and it would just be ok....
i don't know if that makes any sense but i think yr headed in a good direction is what i'm sayin, still cool, still stand out, but low maintainence...= fun times and good stuff

Hammercoat is a textured finish that looks similar to an orange peel texture.
