How embarrasing.....
Went out to the shop this evening to close up, feed the dog, and take the battery charger off the kids ATV. Decided to roll my bike back away from the door in case my dad comes over for something. I actually had the thought "I'd better move it so he doesn't try to and drop it or something." So I roll it up about 10 feet or so, standing on the left side as I push it....and it just slowly layed over to the right. No excuse, no rapid crash, it just went down on the right side, and I was off balance on one foot and couldn't stop it.
Hell, I'm 6-2 and about 200 lbs, and I about never got that damn thing back up. It was resting on the front muffler, and I was afraid if I let go of it enough to get around on the other side of it it would fall the rest of the way over and snap the rear brake pedal off. Every time I tried to pull it up my feet would slip and I couldn't get and traction. I was going to get my cell phone and call my wife to come help me, but didn't have my phone with me....
Finally got the damn thing back upright. Total damage, a scuff about an inch and a half long on the front muffler. Won't be visible enough to matter. I'll be ON the bike whenever I do that again. Never had that happen before.
WTF??!?! I feel like wuss.......glad nobody was around to see it. Like in the parking lot of the bar....

When 500+ lbs of iron starts to fall over. No matter how big or strong you are it's not to hard for it to get away from you. That's nothing to be embarrassed about.
I did hit a curb once leaving a bar. Even drunk that was embarrassing.

This got me to thinkin, I wonder how much in Lbs we are actaully lifting to stand up a downed bike? I would think only about half the weight, but I guess that is still 250 Lbs or so. Im a pretty strong old boy, but 250 is still a big grunt. Ive read all the articles about how to pick up a bike, but who wants to practice. Most falls are in less then ideal areas with loose gravel or parking blocks involved so its even tougher.

When I hit a car on mine I could have lifted it over my head. Amazing what a bit of adrenalin will do for you.
