best products to use to keep showroom shine
Hi there, from a newbie, I just had my sporty delivered last night. I took it for my first ride, a short trip to the gas station, and you guessed it spilled gas all over the tank which got me thinking what products do you folks suggest I get to keep my showroom shine? Also any advise on first upgrades for my bike would be very appreciated as well.

Welcome to the forum!! I didn't know people actually washed their bikes.
Actually, I wash mine at least once a year and I just use a good wax on the painted surfaces. A lot of people will probably say Mother's or Mcquire's. Either on is good. As far as upgrades, I'd pay the taxes. Ride it and find out if there is anything you want to change. Seat, grips, pegs, bars..... It's all about how you want it.

welcome
Welcome to the club. I use the same car wash/wax I use on my car for cleaning.
Upgrades on mine, first I got some saddlebags so I could lose the backpack. Then SE air cleaner, and just put Python 3 slip ons last night.
I had to decide first to spend money on function, then to go for performance.
Enjoy your new ride.

In between the usual wash eevry few weeks when needed, Lemon Pledge or Behold Furniture cleaner/polish on all painted & chrome surfaces and windshields. Would venture to say that its pretty darn close to the more commonly used Harley or Honda Spray cleaner/polish.
When folks ask me how I keep the bike shining and I tell em they laugh but its true.

inbetween baths and wax coats, I use a product called showroom shine. It's basically a spray on wax. Mother's has a version out too, don't know the name. I use it on the paint and chrome. Spray on, wipe off, and the shine is amazing.

I hit my bike once a week (or two) with perfect detail and microfiber cloths, takes all of 15-20 minutes. Occasionally I wax the paint with carnuba wax (a few times a year).

As far as cleaning old stains and tarnish off of the aluminum parts as well as makin the chrome shiny, Brasso is workin better for me than the Mother's and Gord's that I tried. And welcome to the forum from Arizona!
