Chroming - Have any of yall seen this?
Guys,
I love the look of the fenders off my Old Triumph and it has me thinking....
How would a Sportster look with Chrome Fenders?
have any of yall seen this done? how did it look?

I seem to remember a post with a sportster that had EVERYTHING chromed! Fenders, tank, engine, frame, side overs...everything but the seat and tires.
That being said, I think chrome fenders would have a real classic look to it. I would only worry about the size of the rear fender...a good bit larger that those old triumphs had.

I, for one...would LOVE to see a pic of an all-chrome Sporty....one that rides on the road, preferably...not a show bike...

There is a picture somewhere in this forum of a 90% chromed Sporty!
Its just plain UGLY in my eyes ....
I say: chrome covers the rust!

There was one posted here a while back. Everything chromed but the seat and tires. I thought it was totally bitchin' cool. Obviously a guy who likes polishing his bike. Probably fry you like a slice of bacon in the summer sun. Someone will repost the pic I'm sure.

personal opinions are just that but mine is that chrome is real easy to overdo

It does'nt cover it, it makes it  , the quality of chrome today is anywhere near the what it once was. Polished stainless steel is the material of the future
