well, many of them are mine that were taking from my Dad's and a friend's collection of slides and I've never posted them anyplace else. No coincidence....

I doubt he was trying to pass them off as his, or as ones he found on the web, but was strange seeing them (mainly the Magneto's pics) all in one post. Even the Andrews ad scanned from the AMCA mag. Not random.
Generally as a courtesy when I "borrow" a pic from another blog or site, I at least throw the original poster some credit. Sportster love is Sportster love.
***Thanks to Capt Cals, ATR, Den of Sportsters, JJ, Quad Cam Bastards, Haints Co-op, etc for all the crap I reposted.

the 60s Scene 61 XLCH
Guess the 61 XLCH Guy could not wait to get on the strip.. hey maybe this was the mrmom's XLCH with it's original Owner? could it be?
*And to reply to the questions posed above, yes when AL GORE invented the Internet 'we all knew' it was free game to copy and repost so be warned, never let the girlfriend take pictures of you when drunk, the pictures remain the same to infinity but the GF will change.. 'they can be evil'...
anyway, dig the picture...

Them early days of venturing away from drum brakes had cable actuated calipers much like todays hi end bicycles but not stellar quality back then, I believe this is what the guy has on this Ironhead
