Wimmer Better Sucker

Anyone have experience with these? Looks like a great alternative to the RSD and Big Sucker. TIA

Lenster has the Wimmer Mini Max. It uses top breathers instead of internal breathing. I agree though it would be a good alternative to the RSD or Big Sucker. I have a Wimmer intake assembly on my list.

Yes, it's true. I have a Wimmer Mini-Max on my bike. It'll flow way more than the Sporty engine will ever need. I like it - a little pricey, but I like it! Wimmer is a top quality product.

I put one on my Deuce. Was looking for a new cover for my SE filter. I had a cheesy cover and was looking for something different. Ran across it on E-bay. For a little more than the price of a new cover I got the whole AC. The filter is a little taller than the K&N that came with SE. The unit came semi-assembled so you have to disassemble the filter, backing plate and cover to put it on the bike. Installation was easy since I already had an SE AC on it. The breather bolts come with a very cheesy plastic chrome cover and one of them was the wrong size. I bought a set of chrome Harley ones on e-bay for around 10 bucks. All in all not a bad deal. Like the looks better than what I had and cheaper than a lot of other ACs.

That looks great, and very compact.

Yeah, but it sticks out a little too much. If I had my way, it'd be about an inch shorter.

I like the Mini-Max, but am looking at the better sucker due to cost and finish (personally dislike chrome, but to each, his/her own). Personally have never seen the point of A/C's that cost upwards of 400. Really don't want to spend more than 250 on an A/C, and want the minimalist look that goes with the small round cleaners. FYI, got an email response from wimmer that the Better Sucker does not work with late model XLs, but should have a model for us in the near future.
