Default IH - '65 - James Gasket Kit

Have just bought this Gasket kit for my '65 IH.

Even though I've been very meticulous when I disassembled the engine, I don't seem to recognize all the different gasket and seals in the kit.

Could anyone maybe give some pointer to where to put them?

Thanx,

Henrik

When you buy gasket kits that span the years, they will include all the gaskets and seals for all bikes thru those years. One year might use one type of seal while yours might not need this paticular seal or that type or size gasket. So yes you will have a few that you will not use.

Hi Alfons,

A: Kicker shaft square seal in back of left case
B: Gear shaft seal in right case
C or D: Clutch rod seal in clutch gear or its nut depending of year
J: Probably cluch drum oil seal
E: Clutch push rod seal in sprocket nut

Some of the others are mainshaft oil seal in left case and mainshaft sprocket oil seal in right case, hard to say without dimms!!!

Patrick
