Have not given much thought to the paint, I still have several things to make and get it running. I did spray some clear on the fenders and the other bare metal pieces so they won't rust while I am doing other things

yeah...I built the other tank it is part oil and front part gas. I have it off so I can pick up the bike and take the stand off...some day Dan

Nice use of a bronze sea water intake for the air cleaner cover!! We have lots of used ones in the boatyard but I never thought of putting one on my bike!!
