Did your Progressive MC insurance go up?
Last year my insurance cost me $206.00 per year. Just got their quote for the next 12 months. $269.00. No accidents, or tickets.
I hear that new policies get a great rate for a couple of years and then they hit you.
Not good business. I would never trade an existing loyal customer for a new one. I think the entire insurance industry has bumped their heads.
I have an appointment to talk to the insurance lady at Laidlaw HD.
Two of my buddies just got quotes from Formost insurance, better coverage, a better deductible and covers more accessories. For less than their quotes from Progressive.
How about you? Is Progressive insurance trying to screw you also?

Yeah, mine went up this year, can't remember the exact amount, but it is higher. Been a customer of theirs for over 5 years for auto, but only motorcycle for one...

My '99 cost more to insure than my '06 (bought the '99 in January). I thought that was weird. My policy renews in July, so I won't know until then if they hiked it. If so, I'll maybe move to Geico (have my car through them).

Had Foremost for 3 years.
Renewed with a new big twin instead of the sporty, and it quadrupled in price.
Progressive now has me and it was only $50.00 per year more (with better coverage) than my sporty.

I'm still on my first year with progressive. This is something I'll definately be watching for when I renew.

I had Progressive insurance for a year. Then when I got a second bike I shopped Progressive against the local Dairyland Insurance agent. Dairyland can insure both bikes for the same price as Progressive cost for one. So I'm not sure Progressive is best price for motorcycles. (Sorry Flo).
But I have never seen a better price than Progressive for my car.

I had Progressive insurance up to last year. When it renewed last march the quote was $225 for liability for my 3 bikes. I ask them to add $10,000 medical coverage so I'd be legal to ride without a helmet. They wanted an extra $250 for just that coverage.
I called Dairy land for a quote over the phone. I qualified for a gold policy, because I own my own home, and my bikes live in a garage, so the total for the same coverage came to $250 total. Essentially I got the medical coverage for free by changing company's.

Mine went up, but I had added a 72 in a 55 speeding ticket this year too.

I went to Gieco when Progressive did this to me. Gieco was $80 cheaper and had better coverage. I pay $98 a year for full coverage, of course I have an '02, don't know how much the year makes a difference, and I live in Northern Utah and can only ride half the year.
