Default RUSH In San Antonio Aug 12th - RIDE

If there's anyone going to the show, how about a group ride to the Verizon?

Excellent show! I saw them at the Hollywood Bowl in LA during a stop on my big xcountry trip.

Well worth the $50. They're getting up there in years, but they put on a heck of a show.

BTW- Neil Peart rides too- R1200GS Beemer- he's wrote a couple books about his riding experiences. Ghost Rider is a good read.

I saw RUSH in 1979. Still ranks as one of the top 3 concerts I've seen.

Wife and I are going to the Dallas show and we toyed with the idea of riding to the SA show. Have to get an early start. What are your thoughts and where would the ride start out?

I would say eat somewhere before the show (substance to soak up the expensive beer) Somewhere central to all that are coming. And ride from there.

I've got two tickets in the 304 section that I won't be able to use, $100 takes them if anyone needs them.

Thanks to pjk, I have been informed that there's a Rush Fan get together at the Hangin' Tree Saloon in Bracken ( www.hangintree.com ) round 2pm this Sunday. Been there before, cool little place. From Rolling Oaks Mall its about 2 miles north on Nacodoches Rd/FM 2252.

Heres the link to the Rush Fans in Texas site.
