Places to get discount tires
Ok--I just got back from Sturgis and had to replace the front tire before I went. I now have around 16000 miles on my rear, and it is time to replace the stock Dunlop. I left and it had 4/32 on it, now it's pretty much a slick .
SO, hopefully without opinions Where is the best place to find a 150/80 B16 either D404 or D401 online?
I am looking for the best deal and will have it installed.

Check to see how much your installer would charge to get one.
the cheapest prices do not include shipping. I found that I could save 10-15 bucks from online vs getting it at my indy. He got the business....

I've found that it's worth giving the work to my Indy as it's a ride in ride out deal with a £5 tip for the fitter it's well worth it!

I ordered my new rear (got 14k ish out of it) from acc wse dot com. They're in Boise, I'm in the Tacoma area...and it should have been here by now. Dealer wanted $128, local Indy wanted $134, I paid $113 shipped.

I got my D404's from www.chaparral-racing.com. It wasn't the best price I found for the tire itself, but it was the best price for the tire's and shipping. Also, for what it's worth most shops charge a little extra if you do not buy the tire at their shop. At the shop where I took my rear tire to be mounted, it was $22 for mounting and balancing, $15 had I bought the tire there.

How the heck does one get 14-16k miles from a stock Dunlop? Put it on a Big Twin? I can't get half that on a Sporty.
