the shocks are harley profile low trouring shocks. stock on a streetglide or a roadglide.
they lower the other touring models. and i went with burly brand lowering blocks.
the shocks are only 1 inch longer, so the blocks are 1 inch drop.

Ive been thinking about getting that seat as well. Where'd you get it? Direct from LePera? How much if you don't mind me asking?

it is definitly a bare bones, pretty firm. feels good in the garage

only plus 3 degrees C.

so i will report that the bare bones seat for the '48 is
all right with me. not a tour seat but not a little hard spring
seat either. started hailing and snowing so only about 30 miles today.
great first of the season ride, looking forward to more.

That's a hell of a sweet looking scoot hlgsn... Not exactly my style, but job well done!

I was contemplating that seat or the Roughcraft, I ended up with the RC.. The Barebones is nice but I don't like how wide it gets towards the back, didn't really go with the "lanesplitting look" I was after.

On a sidenote, from those I've spoken with the BIKER GEL option is worth every penny for those seats.
