Dead Mac, I have the same thing done to my top clamp as Rog48 but am no longer using it. I'd sell it to you if you want it.

I'm 5"7 about 170cm I use mid too
And my lower back is happier
i place my legs like a 6"2 guy riding on a forward lol

I'm pretty comfortable with the stock foot controls and I'm a short ass at 5''4

It could also have to do with not having ridden a big bike sporty with mids before!

I'm still waiting on the Mid Controls!! Thanks for the remarks everyone....I purchased some Mid Controls off ebay for 80 duckits...and they should be in Monday. Once I get them...I can put them on and try them out with my new titanium heat wrap (over the fiberglass ones). Hopefully it will be a win/win. But in the meantime...added my "japexican", painted the rockers and levers black, and got hustled by my 7 year old for a old boy scout bag he had. eeessshhhh....love the bag though.
