Well let's face it you don't go to A hard tail to get a caddy like ride You do it cause It's bad ass! That being said it's not that bad as long as your seat to peg and handle bar configuration is right. And then let's not forget about seat springs or even shock absorbers on the seat. With the help of springs your bike will be comfy enough for all day riding. And yes I ride rigid and will only build rigid and I don't even run springs on my sporty chop .

I run my tire at 25 psi and its not that bad, I was even rear ended about a year and half ago on my last sporty and have really bad back pain all the time. I thought the ride was going to be worse and i would have to stay with shocks but it has not been that bad granted i do not do long rides on this bike.

i kno hard tails is badass thats why im looking to go that route but i mean a bike is a chick magnet an at 19 well yall know how it is lol but hows the ride for a passenger not like im going to be running long trips or nothing but still would like to throw a suction cup pee pad like seat on the back for a passenger. i take it that u guys only run solo seats on your bikes wit the hard tail. nice bike to i like that alot

Your passenger will not like to go very far, unless maybe your going to run a sissy bar for them to adjust.

Go with rigid struts and see how u get on.. thats what ive done. and if u can cope with that u will cope with hardtailing your bike. i was told its not as rough as with rigid struts as the frame tends to flex slightly and take alot of shock out of it. and struts make the rear end very rigid...

IMO hardtails are selfish bikes. Rider only but that's the way I like it!.
The earlier post about the passenger not going very far is right on the money, lol. Hell, they'll hate it.
