Bloomington Indiana HD
I recently had a good exprience at the harley dealer in bloomington. First off, my switch housing screws vibrated loose and one fell out. Nowhere around here has any so off to the stealer I go. Well they close at six I am an hour or so away I get off work late and ant gonna make it. I give em a call and they are more than willing to stay until my wife can get there for 4 bucks in hardware, no way!!! She sit in traffic on 46 for bout 35 minutes and finally shows up at 6:35 and they are still in a good mood. They even chatted with my wife for a while, awesome people up there from my exprience. My next bike hopefully a road glide (keeping the sporty dont worry) will be bought there for sure. Thanks Bloomington HD I rode my bike to work today becouse there are still a few good dealers out there that know what service is about.

Good to hear smitty. I've only been there one time when we had the XL Forum Hoosier gathering at Lake Monroe in 2006. It was in conjunction with the Cancer ride and we dropped off our $$$$ there. Seemed like a nice place though.

I have a great dealer too!
Highland HD in Somerset, PA. It's only a 3 hour round trip but worth the ride. Nate is my mechanic and I trust him, he knows my scoots as well as I do. There's a lot of closer dealers. Dealt with one of them for 25 years before he turned in to a stealer. And I do mean STEALER! I have documented proof he ripped me off!

Smitty,
live in Bedford so it is the closest dealer to me. I have consistently had good experiences there. I had a minor accident that broke off my right forward control, I stopped by there on my way home and they sold me the $4.00 worth of bolts and let me borrow a wrench to fix it. Wouldn't take a tip for letting me borrow the tool.

My local dealer, Wolverine HD in Michigan, is also great! Ive always found that YOUR attitude goes a long way in any situation at any dealer. DUH.

I've had limited experiance w/ the Kokomo, In. dealer but all of it so far has been very good. I've stopped in there before to browse and even though I made no secret of the fact I rode a GSXR the people in there were friendly and helpful. I never felt like I was getting snobbed because I rode "one of them crotch rockets".
It's always good to hear about good dealers. Especially when there are so many stories about bad ones.

I thought I was a gruff OldCoot, but somehow I consistently have good experiences with service at HD dealers. I'm not saying I like their high prices, but they keep giving me great service.
I wrote on my blog the other day about my latest/first-time experience at Parkway HD in Asheville. You can read about it here.

I've not been happy with them more than a few times but I'll share a couple of them. I had my PC III dyno tuned there and was given a real pretty sheet when done. In the real world the bike ran like crap afterward and required me to go back in an mess with their map to smooth out the rough spots, ie: money and time wasted as I had it running well before they got their hands on it. Then, and I missed it at the time of delivery but during said dyno tune my Rinehart pipe was scratched deep so in a very short time it drew moisture and ruined the finish on a brand new pipe. I could go on but I'm setting here getting mad just thinking about it.
