Slip Slidin' Away....Ouch! Ouch!
Ok! You're right behind this truck...what's your first reaction?
Spilled bees on highway a honey of a mess
Dec 15, 2004
LAS VEGAS, Nevada (AP) -- A truck carrying 12 million honeybees hit a wall on a highway ramp, dumping its load across the pavement shortly before the evening rush hour.
The truck was carrying 480 bee colonies, each with 25,000 insects, to California to pollinate the state's almond crop when it struck the wall Wednesday afternoon.
The collision spilled the bees and gallons of honey onto the highway and forced troopers to close the ramp for more than four hours.
State police believe the driver lost control on the curving ramp.
Authorities summoned beekeepers to help but decided capturing the bees alive would take too much time and money. Firefighters doused the insects with water to kill them.
"We're talking millions of bees," said Don Grogan, owner of Sedona Honey Co. in Las Vegas, who was helping with the cleanup. "And tomorrow they'll all be dead. ... It breaks my heart."
Honey? I'll be a late getting home tonight...I ran into some honey!

They might "Sting like a Butterfly, Float like a Bee" though and make it tough for Billy! But he can handle it! He faced rougher foes...the state bird in Illinois is the mosquito and he kills them daily in the summer! Show us your bug light, Billy...let it shine...let it shine...let it shine!

Just imagine how pissed those bees would be! Wait..they'd be stunned first then angry. So, fly by the honey and then book it as fast as you can. And yes, Planb, our state bird is the mosquito, but Billy is faster!!
