Question Lifter/tappet alignment bolt question

My lifter/tappet alignment bolts are a bit corroded. Can I replace them without removing the heads and pushrods?

Thanks in advance

Spur

You can remove and replace the tappet guide pin bolts without removing anything else, but I'd remove/replace them one at a time, and don't spin the engine while they're out.
Would be best to turn the engine first so that the pressure is off each lifter before you remove its pin.

BE careful when you tighten them!
I was using my 3/8" torgue wrench......first two and last one torqued just fine....BUT....intake on front cylinder busted the head off.
Looking back, I don't know if it was just weak or what, but then next time I do it.....I'll just use a ratchet and get them tight.
