Default Warning Lights

What problem is supposed to be indicated when both the Yellow Engine and Red Battery lights light up and go out in concert with one another?
I looked in the owners manual and it doesn't list anywhere (I could find) about either light much less what they mean together.

I just want to know if anyone has a clue. I'd call the local Stealer but for the most part the one near me has part replacers not mechanics.

Thanks,
Larry

The battery light is the main indicator coming on.
Since the computer is picking up a trouble code it causes the "check engine" light to come on too.
Check your battery cables and also check the codes to see if it's a low voltage code.
If that doesn't fix it test the battery then the charging system.

They'll probably tell you to replace the entire bike!
