Default Can someone tell me the difference between the VIED and the X14iED

I believe the VIED is user variable for A/F ratio. It allows you to fine tune your air to fuel ratio a little more, like from 14.7 to 13:1. It does not vary the A/F per RPM or anything like that tho. It still only fools the ECM into altering the ratio accross the board. The X14EID only changes the A/F ratio from stock 14.7 (IIRC) to 14:1. I'm sure if this is not correct, someone will chime in with more accurate or comprehensive info on this.

The only difference i know of is that the X14iED is fixed At an AFR of 14:1 where as the ViED allows adjustments between 13.8:1 and 14.3:1.

Unfortunately, that is all I know of. I bought and install the X14iED after installing my straight shots and have been happy since. It has leveled the bike at specific RPMs and has greatly reduced the heat it puts out. Once in a great while, the bike will rev at idle and it takes a minute to adjust itself, it did not do that before the iED install, so I assume that's just the product doing it's job.
