Vibration at high RPM
I have a 2005 XL1200C with 34,000 miles. It has developed a vibration at high RPM in any gear. When road speed matches RPM, there is no vibration. At 75mph in 5th it feels like it's lugging. When I accelerate I feel the vibration. Checked drive belt, primary adjustment, wheel bearings all ok.

Also check steering neck bearings and tire pressure.

How many miles are on your current tires..mainly the front one??
Did you check spoke tightness??
Swinger tightness?
bad wheel bearings?
anything already mentioned above will contribute to a vibration?

That's the statement right there that concerns me! 75 in 5th shouldn't be "lugging". Stock gearing? Have you done anything tuning wise lately?
How about your exhaust? Everything tight?

75 mph you should be able to whack the throttle watching the bike take off without any hesitation??
