When you view the data in Dynojet log tuner do you see the wideband hit counts and afr samples with the new settings?

I think the issues we are having with crosshairs wb data logs according to DJ is that the global lambda 1 and lambda 2 settings weren't set up in the signals menu...not sure just yet though... Have to test, check, and report back to Dynojet to find out what we have set up wrong that is keeping us from viewing the collected data proper...

I'm not sure I don't use Log Tuner, I just use MLV and adjust manually.

Just started to play with the PV and I'm using the canned tune from DJ for my mods. A Joker Performance AC and VH Short Shots, DJ uses a SE AC and Short Shots but, it should be about the same to start with.

The thing is I'm getting what looks like really good plots without doing anything else, too good actually. I ride a 2012 Iron 883 with the mentioned mods.

When I open the log though with MLV I get 3 errors.

1st Error

2nd Error

3rd Error

The plot looks like this.

The logs were recorded using the 319245 code option and from what I've read that should capture everything needed. This run here was about a 70min ride with me just runnng through the gears as much as possible.

When I use the PVL and hit calc tune the only things that gets modified are the Spark Hit Count.

Am I missing something or is it possible to get a good running tune straight out of the can? My butt dyno can tell if anything is wrong.

Don't worry about those errors on start up they don't mean anything.

Did you log with the Phase 1 AFR table? with most of the cells set to 14.6?

No I just went with what was in there at the time. Most of it was set to 14.5.

It won't work when you're in open loop.
Just change most cells up to 70% and 5500rpm to 14.6 and log again.

edit: The errors are normal. The software wants to make calculate things that were not logged.

That's a canned tune from DJ? Wonder how that's supposed to be an improvement over the stock tune's AFR table? If you going to practically set everything to 14.5 - which is curious in and of itself - why not just set everything to 14.6 and take advantage of the narrow bands/closed loop operation?

I'm going over the Crib Notes that were posted and it's mentioning adjusting the Spark Advance. Im using an 883 and I think Whittlebeasts was a 1200 so I dont think it would be safe to use his values.

Is it worth it to mess with these or should I just leave the stock values?
