Not quite yet, those appear to be Con's of the era. Yea. they were good time's, but we lost alot of good people for lack of knowing what was needed to walk away from the crash. At least it wasn't a criminal offence if you did not wear a helmet, or a seat belt in your cage. Really fast machine, mid 11's, thats quick.

Yeh, those kind of balls went the way of front-engine dragsters. Hey--- if people are adults and want to be gladiators, let'em go! By the time a dude idles his machine to the line, he knows what he's getting into, but, as we all know, a WAY different era. Today, it's Nanny State City. Back then, no NFLers would dream of suing the League...

brucstoudt, the one in the pic is a 69. The fueler is 73 -76 cases with the starter hump removed .
The 69 went on to be 86"s followed by 92" . Eventually grenaded at Truett and Osborn race in 79 under a heavy dose of nitrous back before we understood the auxially fuel requirement to be as great as it is. But not before a 9.51 @ 151 MPH pass with no wheelie bar leaving in 2nd gear. It was fun while it lasted.
