Default Never know what you will find at a yard sale...

Stopped at a yard sale and stumbled across a nice alumnum battery box and a green plastic tube in a sealed bag that said "Jim's tools" XL 57-up. Didn't know what it was but figured it was something for an ironhead. Guy said make an offer so I gave him $5 for both. Turns out inside the tube was a brand new, unused rocker arm bushing ream. Who would have thought I'd stumble upon this amidst some old tupperware and kids clothing...Score!

Good deal. That was the best $5.00 you ever spent. That's probably a $100.00 + tool.

I have a soft spot in my heart for yard sales. As long as the major tool makers have a liberal exchange/repair policy, I can't drive past one.

Love estate & yard sales. I go straight to the garage/cellar/tool shed. My fantasy has always been to find a rusted knuckle or UL tucked away in a corner & hearing "I think it was some kind of pump motor. You can have it for 10 bucks." Scored a 1976 Yamaha racing jersey last week & the accompanying Bell 3/4 for $6.
