OK.....the next step is going to be removing all of the cams then see if the engine rotates.
If it does (and it should) that will mean something is jamming the cam gears. Go from there with a good visual inspection.

PS: Make sure both spark plugs are removed!

Oil pump was shot???
I certainly hope it was still pumping oil when you last ran the engine.
Let us know what you find with the cams removed.

So you have not told us what the problem was in the engine not turning over.
We like to give help but we also like to hear the reason something was not working.
If it was something complicated or just a dumb move on your part makes us no difference.
We have all done dumb things so if that is the case don't feel you have to hide it.
New ignition.....yep, it needs to be set close to correct timing just to get it started.
Then use a timing light after it is running.
I will let someone else advise you on the electronic ignition as I am a simple points and condenser type of guy.

Ya got ahead of myself, the problems was on of the cams was binded up, not all the way in place, kinda hard to explain, it just kinda locked its self up on another gear. So anyways on to the next problem, its getting spark and fuel, but not firing i put the cam case cover back on tightened down that litlle magneto thing (round thing that spins), tried to start the bike and nothing, the bowl was full on the carb so i think it flooded. Am i so far out of time it wont start? I have read stickys but i cant make heads or tales of it. Has a dyna s system on it, no points, how do i get this thing running?
