Hopefully the vacation gods will be nice to me and I can get west sometime and visit the foothills of TN.. having lived in Bowling Green and Glasgow, KY I know the riding is great.

It's very much like northern VA. You can go from the valley to over 5000 ft in less than an hour. Nice long winding twisting roads. Of course there's the dragon, but it's overrated. The Cherohala, Foothills Prkwy, 441 thru SMNP and Moonshiners 28 are much better roads. Even some local backroad hwys are awesome.
Anytime you want to shoot down, you are welcome to the guest room. Brad, Pete, and Phillip have stayed here so they can vouch that we are not serial killers or filthy people...  However, you must love animals! I can also help with cabin info if that's the route you want to go. Fall will be amazing here. End of October and first of November are the best for colors...

I would have enjoyed getting together again, but will be taking my boy to see an incredible double bill: Allman Bro's and Santana together. It was his end of school year gift

Anthony and Tracy will be coming with me on this ride also. Unfortunately they cannot get off from work Friday so we will be leaving my house sometime after 4 so be expecting us anywhere from 10-1a.m friday night. I will be using your cot again. Thanks. They will be staying in a motel so if you can give me the number to the closest motel by you I can give them the info. They don't want to camp.
