My sportster is an '02 883 which uses VOES instead of MAP. The 98-03 1200S and the rubber mounts use MAP. I will plug the MAP sensor hole in the SE manifold. I am thinking about tapping it and putting an aluminum bolt in there, or just have Hammer get it welded up when they weld on the 48mm carb mount.

There are still few of the SE manifolds for both floating around at dealers

Sell that Rubbermount manifold and have the guys weld up and port a stocker !

FYI there is no reason you cant run a rigid manifold with a MAP sensor
Just remote mount the map and run a vac hose to it !

GM did that a bunch, its a Saturn Map sensor BTW

You send me a SE manifold for a structural engine sporty and I'll send you my rubber mount manifold.

All the SE manifolds for XL's are for 45's, that's all they made.

The manifold came with two different rubber boots, one for the stock CV40 or HSR42, and another for the CV44 or HSR45.

They never made an HSR48 version.

And thats where HAMMER Performance comes in to the plan

I just wanted to trade to get one that doesn't have the MAP hole (not that its even a big deal). The plan is still to send it to you guys to weld a 48mm spigot on the SE and port it.
