Glad to hear you're still alive to tell the story...
Get your shoulder X-rayed and MRI'd while they're at it. May be some soft tissue damage... That spiral fracture is gonna be a bitch...sorry dude.

Heal up. You're around to tell us about it, which is most important.

I understand being upset about the bike, but it only takes money to replace. You, you aren't quite that easy. Hopefully you get the good drugs to help with the pain. Get better and take care.
Getting better should be your primary concern, but it sounds like you are aware of what not to do next time, which will be important later on.

I feel u! Surgery, 3 mo. in cast, then another 2 mo. to build enough strength to hold clutch properly. Then another six mo. rebuilding bike, did it myself as funds came available. We r still here to tell the tale, and that's all that really matters! Good luck, best wishes! If u want to ride in September, be ready to push the pain envelope!

Been there done that. Glad you're around to tell the story...
Fractured both arms t-boning a car. Several hours surgery on both arms with many plates, screws and wire. 8 breaks in all and several comminuted fractures... Was riding in 5 weeks and racing in 10... though took two years to get back to "normal".

Glad you are able to talk about it, like others have said you will heal. Get well soon. Good luck.
