I really like inexpensive guitars and not because I can afford them. Set up right they will kick a$$ and I don't worry taking them places to jam. I'm always on the lookout for good off brands and copies that I can customize. PM's with Folkie and starting this thread, posting with all of you has gotten me back into it again. I've out the guitar I plan to upgrade and taken a look. I posted a pic of it in an earlier post. When start work on it I will be posting picks of my progress.
The Takemine GS330S is a nice inexpensive guitar and the Martin DX1 is pretty nice too but is a little pricier.

With the little bit of time I get away from work I am trying to learn how to play these..
Nice, more Blackstar love! I'm really happy with my HT Stage 60. I haven't found a tone I CAN'T get yet... Marshall, Mesa, Fender, Brown Sound, Texas blues, it has 'em all...
Although I was at a wedding this past weekend and they had an amazing cover band at the reception. The lead guitarist was playing through a late 70's Marshall JMP head and a Marshall Bluesbreaker 2x12 cab. I pretty much fell in love with his tone about 5 seconds into the first song. Two more things on my wish list now
Screaming Eagles, stretched tank, paint, seat, grips, and other random shiny parts...
